Meet KRISTI

In 1994, Kristi moved to New York City and built a successful 25-year career in media sales, all while continuing to nurture her love for makeup on the side

What captivated her most wasn’t just the artistry, but the emotional transformation she witnessed… Seeing women shift from shy and reserved to confident and expressive. At 48, married with a young son, Kristi took a courageous leap of faith, leaving her established career to pursue freelance makeup artistry full-time. A decision she describes as one of the best she has ever made.

Since then, Kristi has completed over 400 hours of professional training and worked with celebrities, professionals, and brands, with her work appearing in Times Square, magazines, product packaging, and fashion and beauty websites. Alongside her artistry, she has discovered a deep love for teaching through both private and group lessons. Following the pandemic she realized the importance of socializing with others and having personal interaction.That coupled with hearing how uncomfortable and overwhelmed many clients were when it came to shopping for and applying makeup on themselves, led to the idea of KAMP.Clients consistently describe Kristi as knowledgeable, supportive, passionate, and approachable — someone who truly listens, remains humble and relatable, and brings warmth, kindness, and a sense of humor to every experience she creates.
